Your function

The Data Management team strives to help the Corporate Centre get value from data through effective and efficient data management and governance. To achieve this objective, we are focusing on two core pillars: Data Architecture and Data Governance.

  • Lead and syndicate the definition and evolutions of the data-related roles (Data Owners, other Data Governance Board members, and Data Stewards), and provide support on its implementation in the organisation

  • Prepare, lead, and follow up on the Data Governance Board meetings

  • Focus data management & governance initiatives on tangible business value creation

  • Lead the Group-wide data governance initiative (with the involvement of data management & governance leads in the Group's operating companies)

Metadata management (data catalogue)

  • Lead and syndicate the definition and evolutions of the management of metadata, covering tooling / processes / governance / competencies required, and provides support on its deployment throughout the Corporate Centre

Data quality

  • Lead and syndicate the definition of the approach to monitor and improve data quality (incl. definition of KPIs)

Communication, training and change management

  • Continuously engage the Data Owners and Data Stewards to ensure the successful embedding of data management and governance
  • Increase data management momentum and data literacy throughout the Corporate Centre

Data stewardship for Reference Data

  • Perform data steward activities for the Reference data domain (initial focus: identification of critical data; identification, syndication, and implementation of golden sources; identification and resolution of data quality issues)

Your profile

  • Data management & governance experience

  • English: Fluent

  • Relationship-building and influencing skills (including with senior management)

  • Communication and presentation skills

  • Drive, ownership, and proactivity

  • Collaborative mindset (within team and beyond)
